Welcome to my web page. I am 40, a single father and work as an EE for a small company in Texas designing computer chips. I am also the current president of my local PWP chapter of Parents Without Partners.
Life
I am raising my daughter who is in Elementary School here in Texas. She is in the LEAP (Gifted and Talented) program and is generally bored with school. She enjoys LEAP but it is only one day a week. I am blessed that she is very low maintenance. The only time she shows a temper is when I have to do something like physically take a book away from her to get her to eat.
Work
I have been fortunate to work at some interesting places. I did a summer internship during graduate school at AT&T Bell Labs in Holmdel in 1994. They are now Lucent Technoligies. I have worked at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto which became Agilent Technologies and also worked at AmKor (for America Korea) when they had a wafer fab in Korea which I visited 3 times. We became Dongbu briefly before they shut down the Boise office completely. From there I went to General Dynamics Sattelite Division (GDDS) which had previously been a division of Motorola that got sold off. I was only a contractor there so I left for a permanent Job in Texas where I am now.
Education
I have a masters from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and A Bachelors from the Florida Institute of Technology. I graduated from Northwestern High School in 1986 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
